The Center for Judicial Resolutions
Scheduling a Case: If you wish to schedule a matter, just call and ask for Cheryl. She will calendar the case and fax you a New Case Intake Form for you to complete and fax back to me. You can also complete and transmit the New Case Intake form from this web site. (Click tab on left.) Once I receive that form, I will confirm all aspects of our agreement in a contract that I will fax to all parties. This contract, among other things, will explain my procedure for filing briefs and for payment of fees. If my assistant is unable to find a suitable date for you on my calendar, please ask to speak to me personally to see if I can rearrange any dates.
Current Fee: Your investment in my time is $400 per hour. There are no administrative, processing or facility fees for hearings in my facility. My minimum fee is $2,400 per day or $1,800 per ½ day for typical cases unless a waiver is granted. I prefer to handle matters at my facility, but I will gladly travel, at a minimal charge, to any place that may be more convenient for the parties.
Location: The Center is conveniently located off highway 50 just minutes east of downtown Sacramento and highways 5, 80 and 99.
Conference rooms: The Center features seven conference rooms that will comfortably seat from six to forty people. This makes it convenient to have large plenary sessions and multiple private caucuses. The judge also has access to free conference facilities throughout the west coast.
Parking: There is ample, free parking in the shaded lot.
Restaurants: A café is a short walk from The Center. Numerous fast food and more leisurely restaurants are within a mile of The Center. Coffee, tea, ice water and snacks are provided and vending machines are available.
Pre-meeting, Breakfast, Lunch or Coffee: If you would like to meet with your clients or other participants, Chef de Cuisine Cafe is two buildings East in 3636 American River Drive. It opens at 7:30 am and has plenty of room for confidential meetings. To get to the cafe from Watt Ave., go east on American River Drive and enter the FOURTH driveway to the right, then drive all the way to the rear (south side) of the building and look for a green awning with the name Chef de Cuisine on it. Afterwards you can drive or walk through the parking lot two buildings west to my office at 3610. The cafe has free WiFi. Cell phones don’t work in the café, but the café telephone number is 916 473-7888.
